With 15 academic programs, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division is the leader in online creative arts education.

The Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division offers degree and diploma programs in Graphic Design, Kitchen & Bath Design, and Web Design & Interactive Media; bachelor’s degree programs in Advertising, Fashion & Retail Management, Game Art & Design, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Interior Design, and Media Arts & Animation; a bachelor’s degree completion program in Culinary Management; and diploma programs in Digital Design, Residential Planning, and Web Design.

At graduation your degree or diploma will be awarded from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. You will also have an individualized portfolio to showcase your work so you can demonstrate to employers the practical and technical skills you have developed.

You will be invited to attend your graduation ceremony in Pennsylvania where you can walk in your cap and gown. You’re also encouraged to participate in the portfolio review show, where you can present your work to potential employers. Previous graduates of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division have received awards for excellence at the portfolio show. This is your time to shine.

Our Admissions Officers are specially trained to help working professionals like you get the information and one-on-one support you need to submit your application as quickly as possible. Plus, they can help you transfer credits from other institutions, gain advanced standing in degree and diploma programs, or get credit for life experiences.Our Academic Advisors help you put together a program.

Our Business Office helps you find a way to finance your education.

Visit the Business Office for information regarding the diverse array of financing options, such as federal grants and loans, private loans, payment plans, and scholarships.  Federal financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Our Learning Resources Center helps you succeed in class.

Whether you’re writing a paper or putting together a presentation, you’ll find everything you need to research, write and perfect your project and class work at the LRC. You’ll have access to the Internet as well as a vast library of books, CDs, periodicals, and examples of Directed Research Projects. If you need one-on-one help, you can get it from one of our LRC specialists or arrange to have a tutor help you do your best in challenging classes.
